So being back in the UK now, back to work and normality, one of my favourite places to unwind is among all the beautiful creatures at Dudley Zoo and castle, a registered charity, dedicated to conservation and education, they support a variety of projects across the globe.
Another one of my new interests and my learning curve with photography is photographing animals and birds.
I was in Wales over Christmas 2025 with my husband, enjoying a well deserved holiday, wondering what to do on a Boxing day. We have been to North Wales many times and adore the place, just by chance in the place we have rented out a few times now, there were some pamphlets, I saw one for the Welsh Mountain Zoo, so confused as to why i had never heard of it before!!
I went on the website to try and book and to my very pleasant surprise the tickets were half price on that day, BONUS!!!!
Up early as we usually are, found the place very easily on the hills above Colwyn Bay.
Wonderful place and very much into their conservation.

We found a wonderful café, it was a short bus ride from our cabin and was the start of a beautiful sunny and snowy day
