 So back to Finland for another video taken on our snow shoe walk with Seven Fells Up, my husband and two of my friends, amazing night, a spectacular show in the forest above Akaslompolo, an hour in the Kota, with hot berry juice, barbequing sausages and having warm cloud berry cakes by a roaring fire, 

then onto the show outside, such perfect timing that night

Historical Background

The Kota has its roots in the Sami culture of Lapland, where it was originally built as a shelter for hunters and forest workers. These huts were constructed using robust materials, such as polar pine, and were often insulated with reindeer hides and equipped with a central fire pit for warmth and cooking. This traditional design has been preserved and adapted for modern use, allowing people to enjoy the unique Finnish lifestyle.
